Private dining and event hosting are exclusive privileges for members of the Seattle Yacht Club, not accessible to the public. Members have the opportunity to sponsor events for non-members, taking full responsibility for any damage to the venue or property during the gathering. Guests are confined to the designated room or area and are not allowed access to other parts of the Seattle Yacht Club. Member sponsors must liaise with the Special Events Director to authorize sponsorship and are required to be present during the event.
All payments for member-sponsored events are due 3 business days prior to the events date, any additional charges will be processed the following business day. For member events, all charges will be applied to your monthly statement and will be due on your normal statement due date.
In the event of a cancellation occurring less than 14 days prior to the scheduled event date, 100% of the contracted cost including deposit shall be retained by the Seattle Yacht Club. Should the cancellation transpire 14 days or more before the event date, forfeiture of the $3000 deposit shall occur.
Final menu selection is due a minimum of (14) days prior to the event date. Any menus submitted after this deadline will be subject to review and approval by the SYC Executive Chef. The final guest count must be provided seven (7) days prior to the event. If an entree choice was offered, the precise count for each menu item is required by the same deadline. Changes after aforementioned deadlines may be subject additional fees.
