Thanks to Keith Johnson for doing Race Committee.
Six boats turned out. Wind was uncharacteristic for Portage Bay -
it was steady and consistent!!! Ask Bob Hale about shooting the corners.
In third place was Sue Weiss (scoring her second first place). In second place Bob Hale.
Winner of the day was Rob Wilcox. We'll get a picture of him next time.
Thanks to the club for installing 2" toe nails on both floats & a grab bar, which can be a
temporary tie up. The south float was missing a line to bring in the lift arm. Moore
will follow up on this.
October 21's RC will be Bob Brown. Races now start at 1 p.m.
October 28 will be Scott Gilson. Sue will be doing RC for the Grand Prix.
Today's email will contain today's results, the roster and the 18-19 race calendar.
Remember to make a reservation for the Sailboat Awards dinner November 16.
