Starting January 2008, Washington State requires boaters aged 20 or under have a Boater Education Card when operating powered boats, tenders, and personal water craft. In 2009, the age cutoff goes to 25 years. Buy the textbook at the Front Desk for $25 starting on March 1 and study the course materia at home. The attend the review and take the exam on March 29 in the Heritage Room. USCG Auxiliary members will be available at the start of the session to answer questions before the test period starts.
