How to edit the SYC Web site

Over the past several years, the Internet Committee has completely revamped the club website. The purpose of the site has been extended beyond serving pictures and simple static pages to providing a protected workspace for yacht club business. In conjunction with recently installed Wi-Fi equipment at the main station it is feasible for users of this site to edit "on the fly”, rather than spending days and relying on others to make changes.

The most significant feature of the new website is the ability to set permission levels. This means that we can have areas of the website seen by the public and at the same time, we can have private areas that can only be seen by members. Our website has the power to allow permission to view pages and documents down to the individual user level!

You can use this power to communicate with your committee membership, maintain schedules, share information, and track projects and tasks. The following documentation as it will get you started!
