Education and Training

Boating safety and seamanship education is a priority for many Seattle Yacht Club members. Educational opportunities are available throughout the year at Powerboat and Sailboat Committee meetings, Women's Group programs and classes offered by the Seamanship, Education, and Environment Committee (SEE).  All events are open to SYC Members and their guests and some of the events may be open to the public in conjunction with the Membership Development Committee.

Please visit the Seamanship, Education and Environment web page for more information and resource material.

Space is limited and we expect all sessions to sell out.  Registration and additional course description can be found on-line by clicking on the event description (SYC members only).

If you are not able to log onto the members-only part of the web site, sign-up for the classes by calling the SYC Front Desk at 206-325-1000.
