Brian Ledbetter named as SYC Sailing Director
Seattle Yacht Club is very pleased to announce that Brian Ledbetter is SYC's Sailing Director. Brian assumed his duties the first week of February. Brian's achievements and experience span three decades. Here is a brief list highlighting just a few of his notable accomplishments:
*2003 America's Cup - One World Challenge, Strategist/ Sailing Team Operations Manager
*1992 Olympics, Silver Medalist, Finn
*1988 Olympic Team
*7-time Finn U.S. National Champion
*3-year College All-American Team, U.S. Naval Academy, 1983, 1984 & 1985
*U.S.A. Junior Single Handed Championship, Smythe Trophy - 1st Place, 1980 Laser
*Graduate Assistant Coach, 1985, U.S. Naval Academy
