Join us for the 10th Takarabune Regatta in Kobe, Japan in an exchange with the Suma Yacht Club this May 12-16!

This is a long-standing tradition between our two yacht clubs - a friendly competition and exchange that honors our Seattle Sister City relationship with Kobe.

On Wednesday February 23, over 30 members got together to hear details about the Suma Yacht Club Challenge - the Takarabune Regatta.

This event takes place every three years alternating in Kobe, Japan and Seattle. This year, the Suma Yacht Club will be hosting about 35 members who will be traveling to Kobe in May.

There will be 4 Yamaha 23's that will be out racing on the water with four-person crews. Everyone will get some good touring in with our hosts. It promises to be great fun and a wonderful way to continue our special relationship with the Suma Yacht Club.
