Alinghi Sails Into Town Sunday, November 20, 2005 AT 6:00 PM

Alinghi, the Swiss Defender of the 32nd America’s Cup in Valencia, Spain, is coming to SYC in Mid-November. On hand to share some of the Alinghi team values and racing experiences will be three-time America’s Cup winner - Brad Butterworth, Tactician and Grant Simmer, General Manager of Alinghi and Dirk Kramers, Design Team.

Brad, Grant and Dirk will be touring five US central and west coast yacht clubs, including Chicago YC, Long Beach YC, California YC, Seattle YC and St. Francis YC, so do take advantage of this extraordinary opportunity to meet some of the worlds most legendary America’s Cup personalities.

Schedule of Events:

• 4:00-4:45 p.m. Junior Sailing "Chalk Talk" in the Heritage Room (Open to ALL SYC Juniors & Junior Race Team Members)
• 6:00-7:30 p.m. Workshop/Presentation by Team Alinghi Featuring Brad Butterworth, Tactician, Grant Simmer, General Manager and Dirk Kramers, Design Team
• 7:30-9:00 p.m. Reception - Cocktails and Hors d'oeuvres
