Commodore’s Cruise: July 24-29
This is the sixth biennial running of the Commodore's Cruise which started in 1995. It involves 3 point to point races, a star raft and a visit to Henry Island, Ganges and Ovens Island. The Cruise begins at Henry Island on Sunday night July 24 with a pot luck BBQ at enry Island. There you will receive your cruise instructions. The following day will be a race over to Sidney where the fleet will stay at the Sidney Marina. The next day will be a race to Ganges followed by a lay day. Weather permitting the fleet will assemble in a star raft Wednesday in Montague Harbor. On Thursday the fleet races to Ovens with an awards BBQ and a lead sinker BBQ pancake breakfast on Friday morning. For details contact Chris Otorowski at splshtango@aol.com.
