Dates:  November 4-6, 2005 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

Location:  Puget Sound

Course:  One or more buoy or mid-distance races may be sailed each day. The courses will be as designated in the Sailing Instructions.

Time of First Warning:

• Friday:  1325 hours
• Saturday and Sunday:  0955 hours

Time Limit:  The time limit will be defined in the Sailing Instructions and will not exceed 8 hours per race.

Classes to Race:  PHRF-NW classes

Safety Requirement:  PIYA Category III

Other Provisions:

• Notice of Race amended by the SYC General Notice of Race.
• Only yachts that qualify and are invited, at the discretion of the event chairpersons, will be eligible to register and compete. Yachts may qualify based on their performance in selected races in the prior year. For more information, see the Qualifying Events section, below. Yachts may also qualify at the discretion of the event chairpersons.
• Series scoring of the event will be according to RRS and the SYC General Notice of Race.
• Permanent trophy recognition will be awarded for accomplishments in each class, instead of classes and divisions.
• The race committee will have on-the-water discretion to run one or more races each day according to conditions.

Awards:  1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place in class

Social Activities:  There will be parties after racing on Friday and Saturday at the CYC Shilshole clubhouse. The awards party will be after racing on Sunday at the SYC Portage Bay clubhouse.

Registration Deadline:  November 1, 2005 (Tuesday)

Registration Fee:

• Less than 30': $125
• 30' to 39': $150
• 40' and over: $175
