Many of us enjoy fine dining nearly as much as we like cruising on our yachts. Why not combine the two? Join us for a fun and epicurean six days, cruising in the Canadian Gulf Islands with friends and families while stopping at locations famed for their gourmet dining! Organizers of this cruise are "the two Gwens:" Gwen Ellison and Gwen Twyver. There will be a small charge per participant on the cruise (this will help cover expenses beyond the $700 budget). We will have a couple of free days at liberty. There will be 3 dinners that will be required to attend: Poets Cove, The Hastings House, and The Aerie. The fixed price menu charge will be billed to members accounts. Refreshment charges will be paid by each participant at the time they are consumed. Stay tuned for further announcements -- including the sign up date: entries will be limited in number to keep the size of the dinner parties managable. The 2007 Gourmet Cruise is open to all members, both power & sail. We have planned the itinerary so that sail boats will be able to make all ports (including slack @ Dodd Narrows) with ease.
