Join us for tons of fun and casual picnicking in the South Sound August 1 – 4, 2013 !
This is an informal, long weekend cruise intended for a relaxed, fun time with SYC friends. There will be greenboxes and potluck bbq’s on the dock and on the beach, with no organized dining out in restaurants. Come and enjoy the camaraderie of boating, picnicking and
just hanging out with friends on the dock !
This event is for all members, power boaters or sail boaters.
The itinerary is Thursday August 1 at Des Moines Marina, August 2 at Quartermaster Harbor (Vashon Island), August 3 at Dock Street in Tacoma, ending at Gig Harbor on August 4.
Cost per boat for the cruise is $15.00. In addition the cruise committee will make the reservation and collect the moorage fee for Des Moines Marina as we're required to submit one payment for moorage for the entire cruise group. Check out the Des Moines Marina website to determine what the cost of moorage will be. Contact Dock Street Marina directly to make your reservation. Mention you're part of the SYC Cruise. We'll stay at the Gig Harbor outstation in Sunday. Depending on space at the dock it may be necessary for some cruise participants to anchor.
