Garlic Festival 

March 17, 2012 -- Port Madison

 

For those who like to add a little spice to their life and their food, this is the event. Garlic, garlic, everywhere!  The annual Garlic Festival provides you the perfect reason to start up those engines and shake out those sails -- boats like to be used, bellies like great food and we all enjoy the great company of our SYC friends!  If your boat is stowed away for the winter, join us by car, foot, or ferry.

So here’s the plan: 

    ·         Friday evening Greenbox for those who make it over that evening.  Your dinner’s up to you!

    ·         Saturday  - Greenbox followed by potluck garlic dinner at the clubhouse.  (Wine and other beverages provided with dinner).

For the potluck dinner, prepare your favorite garlic dish to share in any of the following categories:
    §  Appetizer

    §  Salad
    §  Side dish

    §  Main dish
    § Dessert (yes, garlic dessert!)

All ages are welcome to participate.  Fabulous prizes awarded for the most popular dishes in each category – and we all get to vote on them!
